Forest Laboratories Selects Metastorm Software for Business Process Improvement Initiatives

BALTIMORE, Feb. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Metastorm, a leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM), Business Process Analysis (BPA), and Enterprise Architecture (EA) software for aligning strategy with execution, today announced that Forest Laboratories has selected the Metastorm Enterprise software platform for its business process improvement initiatives.  

Following a process proof-of-concept with a short list of vendors, Forest has begun implementation of Metastorm as its solution of choice for EA, BPA and BPM.  Several business processes have been selected so far for analysis and automation with Metastorm – including a strategic initiative to model, analyze and automate the business processes related to Aggregate Spend Management and compliance with the U.S. Federal Physician Payments Sunshine Act.  

Forest Laboratories has also engaged Metastorm professional services expertise to assist in establishing a Process Center of Excellence to help govern process improvement initiatives across the organization.
