Piquette is dedicated to preserving the Detroit birthplace of the Model T on Piquette Avenue. Open to the public from April through October, the museum complex is located at 461 Piquette Ave. in the heart of the MotorCities National Heritage Area.
Built in 1904, the 67,000-square-foot facility was Ford Motor Company's first automotive assembly plant. Today it is the only early American automobile assembly plant open to the public.
