Ford to offer full range of vehicles to consumers in China
At the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show, Ford announced plans to introduce 15 new vehicles in China by 2015, part of an initiative to gain market share in the world's biggest auto market. These products will strengthen Ford's penetration in existing segments and drive growth in areas where Ford is not yet competing. Ford wins two Nielsen Automotive Advertising Awards
Ford was honored with two Nielsen Automotive Advertising Effectiveness Awards today at the opening press breakfast of the 2011 New York International Auto Show. Ford won Best Sales Event Campaign for "Swap Your Ride" and Best Green Ad for Ford Fiesta, more than any other automaker. The Nielsen Automotive Advertising Awards is the only awards program measuring the effectiveness of automobile TV ads, and is based on response data from 2.5 million viewers of national television advertising collected by Nielsen.
