The kit includes a 5oz. bottle of oxygenated cleaner with an attached silicone bristle to clean delicate materials such as knit and mesh uppers. Alongside the bottle comes a dual-density cleaning brush: the soft bristles can be used on finer materials, while the harder bristles are for midsoles and soles.
To promote the kit, ForceField created a video that pays homage to the Air Jordan 11 "Win Like '82" release. "The Air Jordan 11 is already a standalone iconic shoe. The fact that they released a UNC colorway, and UNC happens to be in our backyard, made this shoe a no-brainer to use in our marketing video," said Will Hardison, Brand Manager of ForceField. The video features the Premium Shoe Cleaning Kit and the Air Jordan 11 with voiceover footage from the epic 1982 NCAA Championship.
"This kit is something we feel will revolutionize the shoe and sneaker cleaning market," said Todd Vore, President of Implus, the parent company of ForceField. "By eliminating the bowl of water you cut your set up, cleaning, and tear down time in half. Plus, without the use of water, your shoes are ready to be worn immediately after cleaning."
The new ForceField Premium Cleaning Kit can be found online at finishline.com, and in select Finish Line stores.
