Forbes Ranks Ric Edelman Among Top 10 Wealth Advisors in the Nation

FAIRFAX, Va., Aug. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ric Edelman, Founder and Executive Chairman of Edelman Financial Services, has been named one of America's Top Wealth Advisors by Forbes magazine. The magazine ranks Edelman #10, from more than 11,000 nominations received.

Of the top 10 advisors, eight are with wirehouses, including Merrill Lynch, UBS and Morgan Stanley. Edelman and one other are the only advisors in the Top 10 who are independent. The other firm, according to Forbes, has a $5 million household minimum, and a typical account size of $20 million, suggesting that the firm has just 275 clients. Edelman Financial, by contrast, has a $5,000 household minimum.
