Forbes Names Source4Teachers One of America's Best Employers
National provider of educational managed solutions ranked 178 among 500 "Best Large Employers 2017" and third in the "Business Services & Supplies" category
CHERRY HILL, N.J., May 22, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Forbes Magazine has named Source4Teachers, a leading national provider of educational managed solutions in K-12 schools, one of "America's Best Large Employers" for 2017. The company ranked 178 among 500 listed and placed third in the "Business Services & Supplies" category.
Source4Teachers was the only educational staffing company to be named to the list.
"This is a tremendous honor," said Kendley Davenport, Chief Executive Officer at Source4Teachers. "Forbes is a world renowned publication for information about businesses and industries. To be featured on a list with some of the nation's modern-day titans such as Facebook, Google and Microsoft, among many others, speaks volumes about our extraordinary growth. But without the hard work and dedication of the professionals we place in schools each day, none of this would be possible so the credit goes to each of them."
Forbes' "America's Best Employers" are chosen based on an independent survey from a vast sample of almost 30,000 employees working in the United States for companies employing at least 1,000 people (in their U.S. operations). Surveys were conducted between September 9th and October 7th, 2016.
Each day, Source4Teachers fills roughly 10,000 daily and long-term school vacancies for more than 280 partners who together educate over one million students. The organization has significantly expanded its national footprint in recent years and now serves districts in eight states including Connecticut, Georgia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
The Forbes ranking follows a string of recent events which indicate extraordinary momentum for Source4Teachers. Last August, the company moved into the nation's top ten fastest-growing staffing firms for the first time, placing seventh on the Staffing Industry Analysts' (SIA) 2016 List. In November, CEO Kendley Davenport was named a recipient of the 2017 Future 50 Awards by Philadelphia SmartCEO, an honor which recognizes Greater Philadelphia's 50 fastest-growing mid-sized companies as demonstrated by a combined three-year average of revenue and employee growth.
Recognized with several awards for its entrepreneurial vision and growth, Source4Teachers has become a national leader in educational services. The organization is a two-time recipient of the Philadelphia Business Journal's South Jersey Entrepreneur Award and has received the Best Place to Work Award from both the Philadelphia Business Journal and South Jersey Biz magazine.
