Forbes Magazine Editor Randall Lane Joins Global Board Of The Global Poverty Project
NEW YORK, Dec. 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Global Poverty Project announced today that Randall Lane, Editor of Forbes magazine, has joined its Global Board of Directors. A long-standing supporter of the organization, which organizes the annual Global Citizen Music Festival in Central Park, Lane brings a wealth of expertise that will help guide the organization as it continues to expand Global Citizen and the movement to end extreme poverty by 2030.
Lane currently chairs the group's Global Citizen advisory board, which provides high-level guidance to the Global Poverty Project's leadership team. In addition, Lane has used his platform with Forbes to draw awareness to the critical, global issue of extreme poverty, organizing the annual Forbes 400 Summit on Philanthropy.
