WTP Advisors knows well how with some entrepreneurial chutzpah, a volatile market can be an ideal breeding ground for fresh ideas to take root and prosper.
"The past three years we have witnessed a material shift in how large companies assess their service providers, demanding better value and higher quality for every dollar spent. In response, WTP Advisors pioneered an unconventional industry model for client service, and our hands-on approach is helping clients – including twenty percent of the Fortune 100 – improve their business," says Ian Boccaccio, co-founder and partner of WTP Advisors.
Since appearing on the 2011 Inc. 5000 list, WTP Advisors has continued to aggressively expand revenue lines, increased headcount, and established 40 offices in 29 countries worldwide.
"In short, the economic conditions of late actually have served to demonstrate to large multinationals that the 'Davids' of our industry are a better choice than behemoth providers like the Big Four accounting firms. We're honored to be recognized by Inc. magazine three times in a row, and counted among other top American entrepreneurs," says Ian Boccaccio.
The Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2009 through 2012, and awards the best run, most innovative and most inspiring private companies in America.
"Make no mistake: The Inc. 5000 was harder to get into this year than ever in history. The median company on the list increased sales more than 140 percent since the start of 2010, while the average honoree grew a mind-boggling 468 percent. Those are results most companies could only dream of in the economy of the past three years," says Inc. magazine Editor in chief, Eric Schurenberg.

Methodology
The 2013 Inc. 500 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2009 to 2012. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2009. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of December 31, 2012. The minimum revenue required for 2009 is $100,000; the minimum for 2010 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.'s September issue.
