For The Esposito Foundation, Success is Measured by Lives Changed Not Profit
DALLAS, July 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- In October of 2009, Mark Esposito launched a nonprofit charitable foundation whose mission statement is, "to provide charitable contributions to a group of non-profit organizations that steward good will to man." Recognizing the many blessings Mark Esposito has received throughout the years, he decided to create a source of giving to help others. The Esposito Foundation considers lesser-known and underfunded charities that have faith based initiatives.
The Esposito Foundation recently gave to the following five notable charities: The American Foundation for the Blind, Highland Park United Methodist Church, UNICEF, the World Wild Life Foundation, and the SPCA.
Larry Kimbler, Chairman of the Board to the American Foundation for the Blind, kindly thanked the Esposito Foundation for the contribution, stating, "The Esposito Foundation's generous support is critical to our ability to assist our blind or visually impaired citizens to live full and productive lives." Money donated to Highland Park United Methodist Church will go in support of several outreach programs, including HPUMC Outreach, Community Outreach, Global Outreach, Carpenters for Christ, and the Outreach Camp Scholarship Fund. The missions supported by the church provide supplies, support and endless prayer for those in need. The purpose of UNICEF is "to work with others to overcome the obstacles that poverty, violence, disease, and discrimination place in a child's path." The WWF conserves and protects not only wildlife but the future of nature as well. Lastly, the SPCA aids in the prevention of the cruelty of animals throughout the United States.
Esposito Global and all its employees are proud of the charities whom The Esposito Foundation supports and truly believe in these charities' work and efforts as both noble and necessary. Charities targeting education, the underprivileged, missions, entrepreneurship, and children are closest to our hearts. Our due diligence on the charities ensures that our donations are primarily going directly to those in need, rather than big administrative budgets.
The goals of the Esposito Foundation are to distribute funds annually, affecting 5-10 different charities with either a local or global focus. The donations made are fully self-funded. The Foundation is an important thrust in Mark's life, and a testimony to the notion that "giving back" is its own reward. Esposito manages to defy traditional business practices and devote money to causes and organizations in which success is not measured by profit but by lives changed.
