For 'ET Embassy Day', April 1, Raelians Propose Extraterrestrial Embassy Project in an Independent Texas Nation
LAS VEGAS, March 30, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- "Should Texas take the step of becoming an independent country, it could host the most important project ever accomplished by humanity, an embassy for extraterrestrials," said Thomas Kaenzig, leader of the U.S. Raelian Movement in a statement released today.
On Saturday, April 1, Kaenzig and other members of the International Raelian Movement, which has 90,000 members in over 100 countries, will present a public lecture in Dallas to explain the embassy project and how it ties into the idea of Texas secession from the United States.
"Without contributing its share of the federal tax money wasted on U.S. military expenses, Texas, one of the richest U.S. states, could become a paradise nation and serve as host for this unprecedented embassy," Kaenzig said. "Our spiritual leader, Maitreya Rael, supports the idea of Texas secession because smaller nations without large military budgets can do more to help the cause of world peace."
Once constructed, the embassy will serve to welcome back extraterrestrials known as the Elohim in the Bible, according to Kaenzig.
"Elohim scientists and artists created Earth's life forms thousands of years ago, and they want to return peacefully to Earth," he said. "They've asked that we construct an embassy to welcome them back on neutral territory, and with guaranteed neutral airspace surrounding it."
Kaenzig said the proposed embassy will generate billions of dollars in revenue as well as additional spin-off ventures.
"Only one country will be chosen for this incredible opportunity, so Texas needs to act now," he emphasized. "The embassy's host country will enjoy great prestige, and its residents will be the first to benefit from the Elohim's highly advanced technologies of bio-robotics, nanotechnology, medicine, transport, communications and energy sources that Earth's scientists cannot imagine."
The April 1 public lecture will take place at the Dallas Public Library, 1515 Young Street, Dallas TX 75201 at 2.30pm. A Q&A period will follow the lecture.
"Everyone is welcome to attend," Kaenzig said.
In addition to the Dallas event, Raelians will hold conferences and public hearings worldwide to foster awareness of the embassy project.
