FoodMinds Hires Julian Baer as Nutrition Affairs Director
OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill., July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- FoodMinds, a food and nutrition company, is pleased to announce that Julian Baer has joined its Washington, D.C.-based team as nutrition affairs director.
In his position, Baer will help FoodMinds and its clients stay at the leading edge of emerging scientific and public affairs surrounding food and nutrition with a heavy emphasis on federal food and nutrition affairs in the Washington, D.C. area.
Previously, Baer served as a legislative assistant with Olsson Frank Weeda Terman Bode Matz PC, in Washington, D.C., where he worked within the Public Policy Group in areas such as child nutrition, school lunch, WIC, and SNAP programs, as well as on food, agriculture, and energy issues. His experience also includes the Food Marketing Institute and work as a legislative assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives.
