Food Baskets Distribution to Needy During Ramadan and World Cup in Brazil
DETROIT, June 23, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Helping Hand for Relief and Development, ranked amongst the top 10 highly rated "Charities Relying on Private Contributions" by Charity Navigator this year, has joined efforts with JASIB in Sao Paulo Brazil to distribute food to the needy.
This effort will continue through the fasting month for Muslims, Ramadan, as well as the World Cup games. For the duration of 4 months a total of 700 food baskets will be distributed to the poor, homeless and children without families. This is a JASIB initiative to support both Muslim and non-Muslim needy families.
