Fontana Partners With Golden Era Records to Release New Hilltop Hoods in US
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Fontana, Universal Music Group's award-winning independent marketing, sales and distribution company, has signed an exclusive agreement with Golden Era Records for the US release of the new Hilltop Hoods album Drinking From The Sun, as well as key back catalog titles. The announcement was made today by Ron Spaulding, President of Fontana.
Hilltop Hoods have been at the center of the Australian hip hop scene for over a decade. They are renowned for their live shows and have toured extensively in Australia as well as overseas. The band's innovative and fearless sound has made new fans for the band throughout the world. Drinking From The Sun will be their sixth full-length studio album, with their last two records hitting #1 in their native Australia. The first single from the new album will be "I Love It" featuring Sia. The US release date will be January 17th and the single is already gold in Australia.
