Fontaine Modification Celebrates 2,000 Days of Safety at Charlotte Facility

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Employees at Fontaine Modification Vocational Services' Charlotte, N.C., modification center worked their 2,000^th straight day without a lost time incident on Oct. 13, continuing a safety streak that started in 2009. To mark the occasion, Fontaine treated all of the facility's employees to a lunchtime celebration last Friday.

"Over the past several years, Fontaine has made workplace safety a top priority," says Steve Boyer, president of Fontaine Vocational Services. Fontaine Modification Vocational Services provides steering conversions and other cab and chassis modifications for customers in a variety of vocational industries. David Hambrick has served as facility manager at Charlotte during the entire run of 2,000 safe days. Several other Fontaine facilities have implemented these practices and are on track for similar incident-free milestones over the next year.
