GAINESVILLE, Fla., Oct. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Follett's includED® program has saved students at the University of Florida (UF) more than $8.5 million since the program launched in the summer 2014 term. That's an average of almost $800,000 per term. In the past year (fall 2016 and spring 2017 terms), the program has saved the over 17,000 students enrolled in includED courses $3.06 million.
Developed in partnership with publishers, institutions and faculty, includED (known as UF All Access) delivers affordability by providing all required print or digital course materials and supplies to students as part of their tuition. To make things even easier, students are automatically enrolled when they sign up for a UF All Access course and materials are available on the first day of class. It's a simple idea that delivers tremendous benefits for not only students, but for faculty and administrators as well. Faculty and administrators will find that the includED program has competitive offerings, can show them the full cost of education up front and maintains a full variety of content choices so they can offer their students a more robust educational experience.
"We're privileged to be able to offer these substantial savings to students at the University of Florida," said Clay Wahl, president of Follett Higher Education. "As our campus partners come under increasing pressure to affordably deliver educational outcomes, it's imperative that Follett be there to help. One of the ways we assist with this challenge is with our includED program, which is active on more than 90 campuses. We also offer a wide range of other innovative solutions that suit the unique needs of each campus community."
Follett leverages its unique position in the educational marketplace, our unprecedented publisher relationships and our deep expertise to help our campus partners navigate the increasingly complex course materials landscape.
