Focus on Energy Offers Instant Discounts on Award Winning LED Product
MADISON, Wis., Oct. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Focus on Energy, Wisconsin utilities' statewide program for energy efficiency and renewable energy, is offering $10.00 instant discounts to qualified customers who purchase Philips 10-watt light-emitting diode (LED) lamps.
Designed to replace most standard 60-watt incandescent light bulbs, the Philips 10-watt LED lamp is designed to save up to 80 percent in energy costs, has a rated life of 30,000 hours and is assembled in Wisconsin. The product recently won the first award under the Department of Energy's Lighting Prize competition, intended to drive development of ultra-efficient solid-state lighting products to replace the 60-watt incandescent light bulb.
Focus on Energy is offering the discounts at select retail locations on a first come, first served basis. There is a limit of 12 lamp purchases per qualified customer per program year.
