FMI Receives 2018 Freedom Award

RALEIGH, N.C., June 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- FMI Corporation, the leading provider of management consulting and investment banking services to engineering and construction, infrastructure and the built environment, is honored to receive the 2018 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award. This is the highest civilian award an employer can receive in recognition of support for its employee members of the National Guard and Reserve components of the U.S. Armed Forces.

FMI was one of 2,350 employers nominated in 2018 and among the 15 final award recipients. Since the award was introduced in 1996, only 250 companies have received this award.

Award nominations come from Guard or Reserve members who are employed by the organization they are nominating. The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) program received nominations for employers in all 50 states, Guam-CNMI, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the District of Columbia.
