FMCS Statement on ABC Inc. and NABET-CWA Negotiations
WASHINGTON, March 8, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ --The Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) issued the following statement today on the labor negotiations between ABC Inc. and the National Association of Broadcast Employees and Technicians-Communications Workers of America (NABET-CWA):
"In response to a joint request of the parties concerning their ongoing negotiations, the next negotiation session will be conducted under the auspices of Director George Cohen and his colleagues in Washington, DC, on Friday, March 22."
Because of the sensitivity of the discussions, FMCS will have no further comment at this time.
