Flying Tiger Copenhagen and Citi Bike® "Bring May Flowers" to New Yorkers In Celebration of National Bike Month
NEW YORK, May 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Flying Tiger Copenhagen, the popular Danish variety retailer for own-designed products, will make Citi Bike even a little brighter. The promotion, in celebration of National Bike Month, will bring flowers and tiny vases for one day only, to select Citi Bike bicycles. Flying Tiger Copenhagen will also display branding on Citi Bike bicycle docks in May and June.
"We are excited to partner with Flying Tiger Copenhagen and add a bit more fun to National Bike Month," said Jules Flynn, Citi Bike General Manager. "We think this will help bring a smile to more faces and get more New Yorkers riding."
"The Danish people are among the happiest in the world, and maybe the frequent use of bikes contributes to this," said Soren Friis, Head of North America at Flying Tiger Copenhagen. "It is no secret to Danes that a bicycle and a smile go hand in hand; you save a buck, and you help save the environment. We want to add a little happiness to New Yorkers, and we are thrilled to work with Citi Bike during National Bike Month."
Flying Tiger Copenhagen has popularized a variety of unique products, including bicycle bells, banana pencil cases, art canvases, glitter wrapping paper, and its award-winning tea pot. The products are created to bring people together and add a bit of fun to their daily lives. Flying Tiger Copenhagen originated in Denmark, where capital Copenhagen is the most bike friendly city in the world. The joyful biking culture in Copenhagen has been the inspiration for many Flying Tiger Copenhagen products, and will hopefully also bring a bit of fun to Citi Bike riders this May.
