Fluke test tools win gold and silver honors in the Plant Engineering Product of the Year Awards
EVERETT, Wash., April 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Test tools from Fluke Corporation were honored in the Maintenance Tools and Equipment category of the Plant Engineering 2013 Product of the Year Awards. The Fluke® VT02 Visual IR Thermometer took the Gold Award and Fluke CNX™ Wireless Test Tools received the Silver Award.
This is the fourth award for Fluke Visual IR Thermometers and the ninth for CNX Wireless Test Tools.
Fluke Visual IR Thermometers blend a digital visible light image with a thermal heat map overlay to identify the exact location of problems. The pocket-sized tools are focus free and intuitive to use, so issues can be detected instantly. They display and save images as full digital, full infrared, or in three blended modes (25, 50, and 75 percent). Markers can be used to pinpoint hot and cold spots indicating potential problems.
The Fluke CNX™ Wireless System is a set of test tools that wirelessly connects multiple measurement modules and sends simultaneous readings to a CNX main unit up to 20 meters away, allowing users to troubleshoot problems faster than with traditional tools. The rugged, customizable tool set allows users to choose various measurement modules, from voltage to current or temperature, based on their specific troubleshooting scenario.
