Company expands LinkSprinter availability to meet growing demand and ensure IT teams can buy from their organization's approved suppliers
EVERETT, Wash., Nov. 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Fluke Networks today announced its popular, award-winning LinkSprinter™ line of affordably priced, pocket-sized network testers is now available for the first time in Canada and through an expanded base of distribution channels in the United States. Initially sold through Amazon.com, LinkSprinter is now available on Amazon.ca, as well as Anixter's U.S. and Canada websites. Ingram Micro Inc. resellers in the U.S. such as CDW, ProVantage, PCM, Softchoice, Insight and others will also sell the device.
Named an "Editor's Choice" by PC Magazine and InfoWorld, LinkSprinter is a pocket-sized Ethernet tester that provides problem isolation in less than 10 seconds. With its one-button auto-test design, smartphone integration and automatic cloud storage of test data, LinkSprinter helps users identify, document, and remedy Ethernet problems from the palm of their hand. Weighing just a few ounces and small enough to fit into a shirt pocket, LinkSprinter is a professional-grade network tester, offered at a fraction of the cost of similar Ethernet testers.
"Tools and solutions that enable network deployment, troubleshooting and optimization are a growing area of focus and specialization for Ingram Micro and its Advanced Technology Division," said Eric Kohl, executive director, Advanced Technology, Ingram Micro U.S. "We are pleased to broaden our expansive portfolio of Fluke Networks solutions and offer its LinkSprinter models to customers through our reseller network."
Barry Johnson, director of US channel sales at Fluke Networks added, "Our alliances with Anixter and Ingram Micro allow us to considerably expand LinkSprinter availability throughout North America, and give customers the added convenience of being able to purchase LinkSprinter devices through their preferred and approved channels together with other Fluke Networks products."
Using a LinkSprinter is as simple as inserting an Ethernet cord into the tester's port and pushing the single button. The LinkSprinter display registers each test with a simple green, yellow or red LED signal, instantly showing status and pointing users in the direction of the problem. Users can also access detailed diagnostic data on their mobile device for instant analysis and store results in the cloud for later review.
The cloud management system tracks test results, which are viewable from any remote location or smartphone, and can email test results to the user. LinkSprinter also doesn't require a standalone application, as an embedded Wi-Fi hotspot within the unit (LinkSprinter 200) allows any Wi-Fi-enabled device with a browser to access detailed test results, even when connectivity is inconsistent.
LinkSprinter is now available in North America through Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, Anixter, and Ingram Micro's resellers in the U.S. For a list of the nearest resellers, click here.
