FLuD and Disney Launch New Holiday 2011 Watch Collection

NEW YORK, Nov. 29, 2011 FLuD, the popular New York-based watch and accessories company, announces the release of a new collection created in collaboration with Disney. This impressive collection of eye-catching wristwatches is perfect for anyone on your Holiday shopping list.

The collection was inspired by "The Muppets," "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "Mickey Mouse." Suggested retail prices range from $50 to $95.

THE MUPPETS

"We definitely wanted to work with the Muppets for their Holiday movie and for the chance to work with the late, great Jim Henson's characters. The Exchange and Re-Exchange models stay true to the FLuD aesthetics of 'simply more' with a Warhol-esque take on Animal, Ms. Piggy and Kermit, sharing face time on the dials. We took our new Holiday watch, the Pantone, and gave Kermit a similar treatment."

THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS

MICKEY MOUSE

"The last challenge was definitely the dearest to our hearts: classic Mickey Mouse. Working with Mickey allowed us to revisit our childhoods and give a classic look a bit of a 2011 twist. The Mickey hands-as-watch-hands style is evident on the Exchange and Re-Exchange models, while Mickey Comic Strip models are seen on the dials of the Big Ben and Prologue. We introduce Jewelry into the Classic Mickey Collection with a set of Mickey vs. Donald Duck Tags, an Action Mickey pendant, and a Mickey bracelet featuring one of the most iconic Mickey Characteristics: his head and ears shadow."
