Florida Teen Makes Final Round of Voting for "Miss Jetset"

ORLANDO, Fla., April 22, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Local teen McKenzie Fraley has reached the final round in the international Miss Jetset Cover Model Magazine Contest. She is one of only 12 to make it through to the finals. Most impressive of all, Fraley, a high school senior, is a first-time entry and moved through against a field of 25,000 contestants. Many of those contestants are established models and social media celebrities.   

This is the 5^th annual Miss Jetset cover model search for Jetset Magazine, the worldwide go-to publication for all things luxury. The winner receives $50,000 and gets to grace the cover of the magazine. Fraley has plans for the money, and it's not a shopping spree.

"I'm so honored to be a Miss Jetset 2019 finalist," Fraley said. "To be chosen among all these impressive women is a great accomplishment. If I were voted the winner I'd use the money to pay for college. I'm planning to study International Business and hope to also earn my Master's degree."

"Winning would allow me the opportunity to fulfill many of my dreams," she added. "One of my passions is helping children with Down syndrome, and being fortunate enough to win this competition would definitely offer me the chance to make a difference."

The competition is also giving a portion of the proceeds received through the voting process to benefit the B+ (Be Positive) Foundation, which helps families dealing with pediatric cancer.

Fraley, 18, is an International Baccalaureate Diploma student at Windermere Preparatory School. She graduates in May and plans to attend Florida State University.

When not studying, cheering or working on functions for student government, Fraley participates in great causes like the Arnold Palmer Foundation Danceathon, Breast Cancer Survivor Walk and Wounded Warriors. She believes that anyone who crosses her path is a friend and no matter where life takes her that she will always be able to connect with people through the one dynamic thing that connects us all…LOVE!

The Miss Jetset voting competition ends on April 25 at midnight.
