Florida Technical College President, David Ruggieri, Teams up With Best-Selling Author of Chicken Soup for the Soul
He will collaborate with Jack Canfield, of the internationally famous series, in a new book about strategies for wealth and success.
ORLANDO, Fla., May 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Florida Technical College President and one of America's Premier Experts, David Ruggieri, will co write a book with best-selling author Jack Canfield and other business and education leaders. Canfield is the author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul® series.
The book, entitled Soul of Success, Vol.1: The World's Leading Entrepreneurs and Professionals Reveal Their Core Strategies for Getting to the Heart of Health, Wealth and Success, will be released during the fall of 2015 by CelebrityPress. In it, a carefully selected group of leaders from various industries will share proven tactics for professional and personal growth.
Ruggieri, who has led Florida Technical College's expansion to seven campuses, is a firm believer on the power of post-secondary education as a game changer. "Education has always been the great equalizer in society," he said. "Without it you will need luck, with it you will get opportunity. I'd rather bank on the latter."
Florida Technical College offers associate and bachelor's degrees and diploma programs in a range of professions, including heathcare, computer networking, graphic design, criminal justice, culinary arts and cosmetology.
In his current role, Ruggieri has helped thousands of students get the tools and the confidence to expand their horizons. He is a skilled leader who understands that rejection, and even failure, is sometimes unavoidable but can be used to develop character. "Keep falling forward," Ruggieri said. "That's a good indication that you're moving in the right direction."
A portion of the royalties earned from Soul of Success, Vol.1 will be donated to Entrepreneur's International Foundation, a not for profit organization dedicated to created campaigns to raise money and awareness for charitable causes.
