ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Florida Realtor, the Business Magazine of Florida Real Estate and monthly trade publication of Florida Realtors®, recently won eight awards in the 2012 Florida Magazine Association's (FMA) competition.

Florida Realtor won a total of three Charlie Awards, the competition's top honor or gold standard, including one for Best Single Photo, original black and white or color, in its Trade/Technical category. The winning photograph was taken of the "Rah Rah Girls," featured in the October 2011 issue. Under writing excellence, the magazine received a Charlie Award for Best Department (Makeover) and another Charlie Award for Best Column (Tech & You).
Judges also recognized the magazine for design excellence. It won a Silver Award (second place) for Best Overall Design and a Silver Award for Best Cover (June 2011 issue). Florida Realtor received Silver Awards for Best Overall Magazine; Best Written Magazine; and for Best Column (Manage It).

Awards were presented during FMA's 2012 Publishing Conference & Expo, Aug. 16-17, 2011, at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.
