Florida-Based Tech Repair Company, uBreakiFix, Opens In Historic Downtown Fort Myers
Technology Repair Brand Expands to Downtown Fort Myers and Provides Focus on Customer Service and Cost-Effective Device Repair
ORLANDO, Fla., June 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- uBreakiFix will open in Downtown Fort Myers on June 17 at 1518 Hendry Street. The fast-growing technology repair company specializes in same-day repair service of small electronics, repairing cracked screens, water damage, software issues, camera issues and most other technical problems at its more than 200 stores across North America.
Grand opening festivities at the location will last until 10 p.m. on June 17, in order to accommodate guests from the local Music Walk.
The downtown Fort Myers location is owned and operated by Justin Murphy and Jeremy Azinger, a pair of high school friends turned business partners. Murphy currently owns five stores in southwest Florida, with locations in Naples, Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Estero and Port Charlotte. Additional stores are currently in development.
The downtown Fort Myers location neighbors Downtown House of Pizza on Hendry Street, among other shops, dining and businesses of the River District. Murphy is excited to bring modern tech repair to the newly renovated historic area.
"The building we're in was actually built in 1914, over 100 years ago," Murphy said. "Back in 1914, Henry Ford and Thomas Edison were visiting their summer homes down the street and today we're fixing devices they could have only read about in the works of Jules Verne or H.G. Wells. The amount of progress humanity has made over such a short period is really astonishing."
uBreakiFix was founded by a savvy millennial duo, Justin Wetherill and David Reiff, who married their skillsets with Eddie Trujillo to offer a brick and mortar alternative tech repair option that was quick, affordable and provided a quality customer experience. By filling a gap in the repair marketplace, the company has grown organically without debt, investors or consultants.
"Our commitment is to creating a great experience for our customers," said founder of uBreakiFix, Justin Wetherill. "With our expansion into downtown Fort Myers, our hope is that we become a trusted resource for technology repair in the community."
uBreakiFix is known for its timely service and hassle-free customer experience and offers repair services for all brands of smartphones, tablets, computers and game consoles. What sets the brand apart from the competition is the ability to fix anything and everything with a power button. Each repair comes with a 90-day warranty. The brand has an average repair cost for electronics of $85, and the brand has repaired more than 1.5 million devices to date. uBreakiFix opened 24 stores during the first quarter of 2016, and it expects to have 275 stores across North America by the end of the year.
