Flora H. Sowell to Be Recognized with Special Times Square Appearance in New York City, Based on a Career of Excellence and Compassion

Flora H. Sowell is the owner/operator of Flo's Home Healthcare in Charlotte, North Carolina.  She earned her L.P.N. at Central Piedmont Community College. (She received her nursing degree from Carolina Medical college in 1972).  Ms. Sowell has 40 years experience in Geriatrics and specializes in personal care, medication, geriatric and Alzheimer patients.  She attributes her success to her faith in God and her parents.  She grew up as a sickly child and found her calling to be a nurse through the great care that she received from her nurses.  Ms. Sowell has been a member of the International Nurses Association since 2014 and is also affiliated with the LPN Association.  She has been honored by the Charlotte Observer for Nurses Week, rated as a Top Nurse in her area and has spent much of her time volunteering for her church for the last 8 years to the present.  The LPN Journal is one of her favorite reading materials and when it comes to free time – if there is any – Flo enjoys using her iPad to surf the web.  Scott Stone, Executive Vice President of 2 Brothers Worldwide Publishing says of Flora Sowell:  "This is a woman who has spent her life helping others.  She is truly one of the most compassionate and loving individuals I've had the pleasure dealing with in my entire career.  She is a pet enthusiast, but, most importantly, she is a human being enthusiast!"  Mr. Stone was instrumental in moving forward Ms. Sowell's career in 2016 and helped promote her career in the press.
