Flip Potential Church a Bird

COOPER CITY, Fla., Nov. 18, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Potential Church is asking their guests to "Flip Us a Bird" the weekend of November 20th and 21st as they kick off their highly anticipated Christmas Series. Guests can drop off frozen turkeys, hams and pies after each service at any of their several South Florida and Pensacola locations. The "Flip Us a Bird" food donations go directly to the Broward Outreach Centers, Miami Rescue Mission and the Waterfront Rescue Mission, which helps to feed the homeless for their Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.

In 2009, Potential Church collected 1,800 turkeys, 1,300 pies and 900 hams and this year they hope to collect more. Pastor Troy Gramling, Lead Pastor, says: "There are so many hurting folks in our local community and we are praying that this year we can have a huge impact against poverty through our local outreach centers."

Drop-off stations will be open at the Cooper City Campus on Saturday, November 20th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and Sunday, November 21 from 9:00am to 7:00pm.

The Hallandale Beach Campus drop-off stations will be open on Saturday, November 20 from 6:30pm to 10:00pm and Sunday, November 21 from 9:30am to 2:30pm.

The Miami Campus drop-off stations will be open on Sunday, November 21 from 9:30am to 1:00pm.

The Pensacola Campus drop-off stations will be open on Sunday, November 21 from 9:00am to 2:00pm.
