Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. Receives Purchase Orders to Supply Sensors for a Variety of Health, Fitness and Safety Wearables

DRAPER, Utah, Oct. 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (FLXT) and southern California-based Focal Wellness initiated a collaborative design relationship in late 2016. Today, Focal Wellness is preparing for the market adoption of a number of now fully patented and patent pending wearable technologies in various stages of development.

Focal Wellness' first product offering is a wearable sleeve/glove targeting the vast number of people who suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome. The unique medical IoT wearable device with Actionable Instantaneous Feedback™ technology measures, and monitors an individual's wrist position. Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is estimated to affect 5% of the US population – approximately 16 million people. CTS is a compressive neuropathy condition responsible for substantial annual costs to society, both in terms of lost productivity and the costs of treatment.
