DRAPER, Utah, March 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Strategic Partners, Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (FLXT) and HTK Engineering, LLC today announced they have entered into a Controls and Distribution Agreement with Ann Arbor, MI based New Eagle (www.neweagle.net).
Under this strategic agreement, New Eagle will serve as the primary supplier of controller systems (hardware and software) for the patented BrakeAlerttm System developed by HTK whose system configuration features Flexpoint's custom Bend Sensors®. In addition, New Eagle, which was recognized as a "2015 Michigan 50 Companies to Watch Award Winner," will immediately become a Distributor for the BrakeAlerttm System to its established and "ever expanding" customer base.
According to Paul Sexauer, VP Sales & Marketing for Flexpoint Sensor Systems which serves as the Sales and Marketing arm of HTK, "This agreement solidifies a very critical supplier relationship for us and immediately exposes BrakeAlerttm to the target markets comprised largely of truck & specialty vehicle OEM's currently served by New Eagle. We are committed to securing these very powerful channel relationships with strategic solution providers like New Eagle which cater to our target markets. It is these relationships that will allow us to successfully scale our business and achieve/and exceed our revenue goals as rapidly as possible."
New Eagle began work with HTK in 2011 when system design for BrakeAlerttm began. "I have been so impressed with the New Eagle team since day one.
