This state-of-the-art showcase facility will enable enterprise customers to test, prove out and experience cloud based unified communications solutions, driving risk-free innovation.
WINNIPEG, May 26, 2015 /CNW/ - FlexITy Solutions Inc. chose the grand opening of its Winnipeg operations center to launch their unified communication solutions "Collaboratory" initiative to Western Canada.
The "Collaboratory", powered by Cisco technology, will leverage FlexITy's facility to create an environment for enterprise private and public sector organizations to test innovative voice, data and collaboration solutions in a simulated environment.
Cisco and FlexITy will leverage the Collaboratory to showcase shared offerings that are based on Cisco's market leading networking and unified communications platforms.
"We are very excited to be able to extend our relationship with Cisco in this way", said FlexITy CEO Peter Stavropoulos. "We have made a significant investment in Cisco and as a result are a Canadian leader in terms of capabilities, certifications and delivery strength. Our team has proven experience deploying Cisco-based solutions and we continually invest to ensure that our people maintain the highest levels of certification on their products."
"FlexITy is one of our premier partners and we believe this relationship will prove valuable to our shared customers as they explore the potential of unified communications platforms to change their business, " said David De Abreu, vice president partners and solutions for Cisco Canada.
Stavropoulos highlighted that FlexITy has invested to deliver a value added offering through the integration of Cisco's products with his organization's own intellectual property. He emphasized the importance of the Collaboratory in helping new and existing organizations understand the art of the possible.
"This is particularly true for public sector organizations," added Stavropoulos. "They often lack the resources or opportunity to experiment with new solutions in order to prove out the business case or to explore benefits and risks. The Collaboratory changes this. It provides an environment where we can work with our partners to help customers assess their requirements, develop solutions that meet those needs and experience the technology in action."
Of particular importance to public sector organizations, Stavropoulos noted that the Collaboratory can demonstrate the value of:
