FleishmanHillard Promotes Massimo Moriconi to General Manager of Milan Office
LONDON, Jan. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- FleishmanHillard has promoted Massimo Moriconi to lead its Milan office. Moriconi will assume responsibility for the firm's business in Italy and will join FleishmanHillard's EMEA management team. He will report to John Saunders, regional president of Europe, Middle East and Africa.
During the past 15 years, Moriconi, who joined the agency in January 2011, has acquired experience in a broad communications portfolio, including specialisation in brand marketing, crisis communications and public affairs. A highly versatile, driven and personable communicator, he has a professional background that covers agency, broadcast media (Mediaset), institutional (United Nations) and foreign affairs experience (Italian Government in Brazil).
"Our business is about talent that embodies our firm's — and a person's national — culture, and about personal success that is measurable and attainable," said Saunders. "It gives me immense pleasure to give recognition to Massimo's obvious contribution to FleishmanHillard and offer him the responsibility he so clearly deserves. Massimo has the precise combination of experience and personality to drive our Italian and international client base, and he knows his way around our profession and network, understands what clients need and can drive the Italian market. Together with the Milan team, he will make manifest our objective to become the most complete communications firm in the world."
"I am very fortunate to be part of the FleishmanHillard team," said Moriconi. "This is a great time for our profession in Italy, as I know how much value and experience my committed colleagues bring to our clients. We want to make an impact every single day, from insights to outcome, and with creative content that can travel through any channel at any time. I share both the vision and culture of FleishmanHillard and aim to do ground-breaking work in Italy with the Milan team and international colleagues."
Moriconi, who was educated both in Italy (universities of Pavia and Bologna) and abroad (UK, France and Spain), speaks four languages in addition to his native Italian and is an avid sports fan.
