FleishmanHillard Appoints Sandrine Cormary as General Manager of Paris Office
LONDON, Feb. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- FleishmanHillard has appointed Sandrine Cormary to lead its Paris office. Effective Feb. 5, she will assume responsibility for the firm's business in France and join FleishmanHillard's EMEA management team. She will report to John Saunders, regional president of Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Cormary has a highly versatile communications background. During the past 16 years, Cormary, having started her professional life as a journalist, has acquired experience in agencies and publishing houses, with particular attention to IT, design, entertainment and the environment. As a permanent learner, she laid the foundation of her communications career with academic studies on Law, followed by studies at the Paris School of Journalism [Ecole Supérieure de Journalisme de Paris] and CFPJ [Centre de Formation et de Perfectionnement des Journalistes]. She has lived a substantial amount of years abroad, from as far as West Africa and New York to as close as London. As a consequence, her business approach is embedded with respect for, and interest in, world affairs and international cultures.
"We are on a highly focused growth path, where we deliver strategic integration of communications programs to an international roster of clients," said Saunders. "Sandrine applies her personal passions to drive her professional approach, which makes her a fascinating counselor to clients and a personable manager to her team. While very traveled, she is also deeply rooted in France, a classic FleishmanHillard combination we see in our office leaders. Together with the Paris team, she will make manifest our objective to become the most complete communications firm in the world."
As a consultant, she has designed and led campaigns that integrate multiple disciplines, from content creation to measurement, through all imaginable channels. As a communicator, she applies her curiosity for innovation and new technologies before she composes a brand or messaging strategy, and as a manager and coach, she has supervised teams both small and large, overseeing campaigns and leading agency practices.
"This is the right time for me, personally and professionally, to be joining FleishmanHillard," said Cormary. "I am highly conscious of the relevance of our industry, the value our expertise brings to clients and the impact that excited and committed counselors can make. I share both the vision and culture of FleishmanHillard and aim to do groundbreaking work in France with the Paris team and international colleagues."
