GREENBELT, Md., May 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Bozzuto Group, a Greenbelt, MD-based real estate services company, today announced that Flats170 at Academy Yard, a new midrise luxury apartment home community located in Odenton, Maryland, has commenced leasing.  The community offers a convenient location to Route 170 and 32, and promises to bring a new level of urban sophistication to Odenton.

The community is being built at the site of the former National Plastic Products/Nevamar Plant that produced everything from paintbrush bristles and Barbie doll hair to laminates for countertops.  The site, which sat vacant for several years, was acquired between 2006 and 2008 by StonebridgeCarras, LLC for future redevelopment. Located within the core of the Odenton Town Center, with proximity and easy access to Fort Meade, Flats170 will soon offer vibrant new housing to the growing area.

Flats170 at Academy Yard consists of 369 apartments residences within seven buildings. There are more than 30 spacious, open floor plan layouts to choose from, including studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom options. Residences will all feature nine-foot ceilings, granite countertops with under-mount sinks, stainless steel kitchen appliances, spacious walk-in closets, full size washers and dryers, as well as designer lighting. Select apartments will also offer private balconies.

Flats170 was developed in partnership by Bozzuto Development Company and StonebridgeCarras, built by Bozzuto Construction Company and will be managed by Bozzuto Management Company. First deliveries are expected in June 2013.
