Fishtech Group Announces Strategic Investment and Partnership with Perch Security

KANSAS CITY, Mo., July 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Fishtech Group today announced a strategic investment in Perch Security, the information security maverick that combines innovative application design with an in-house security operations center (SOC). This new partnership will expand the company's sales and marketing efforts, and broaden and accelerate product development. 

The Series A round of financing was expanded from an initial offering due to the firm's potential for organic growth. Fishtech Group CEO and Founder Gary Fish will join Perch's Board of Directors along with Fishtech Group CFO Ryan Shreve.

Fish is a seasoned entrepreneur whose ventures include FishNet, Firemon, and Fishtech. With evidenced insight in the information security space, he has led Fishtech to invest in early stage information security startups that redefine, disrupt, or create large new markets.  

The financing builds on an exceptional first year for Perch, which saw a rapidly growing roster of clients and partnerships, key executive appointments, and momentum in the widely under-served market of mid-size and smaller businesses. These Beta clients now interact and participate easily with cyber intelligence sharing communities and alleviate the risk of being unable to detect threats on their networks.
