Fish & Richardson Receives "Best Place to Work" Designation from the Human Rights Campaign

BOSTON, Dec. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Fish & Richardson has been designated as a "Best Place to Work" by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) in its recently-released 2014 Corporate Equality Index, which assessed 934 U.S. companies on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) equality.  Fish was one of only 81 law firms to receive the highest possible rating of 100 percent on a set of key criteria, which reflects the best in class practices of LGBT workplace equality.

Overall, 304 companies achieved a 100 percent rating.  Ratings are based on providing equal benefits for same-sex partners and spouses; ending benefits discrimination for transgender employees and dependents; demonstrating firm-wide organizational competency on LGBT issues; and demonstrating firm-wide public commitment to the LGBT community.
