Fish & Richardson Principal Tonya Drake Named 2013 "40 Under 40" Honoree by the Boston Business Journal
BOSTON, Oct. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Fish & Richardson announced today that Tonya Drake, a principal at the firm, has been selected as a 2013 "40 Under 40" honoree by the Boston Business Journal. The award recognizes 40 business and civic leaders, all under the age of 40, "who collectively represent the next wave of talent and commitment in the Boston economy." Drake, who was selected from over 250 nominations based on her professional accomplishments and community involvement, will be recognized at a reception in Boston on October 10, 2013.
At Fish, Drake provides strategic counseling to help companies develop their intellectual property portfolios to maximize value. She works with companies ranging from Fortune 100 corporations to startups across a broad range of technologies. Prior to her law career, she was an electrical engineer at Intel Corporation and Hewlett Packard.
Drake serves as a judge and mentor for MassChallenge, a global startup competition and accelerator designed to catalyze the launch and success of high-growth, high-impact new businesses. She is also involved with the MIT Global Startup Workshop.
