Fish & Richardson Principal Ellen A. Scordino Named 2012 "40 Under 40" Honoree by the Boston Business Journal

BOSTON, Sept. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Ellen A. Scordino, a principal at Fish & Richardson, has been selected as a 2012 "40 Under 40" honoree by the Boston Business Journal.  The award recognizes 40 business and civic leaders, all under the age of 40, "who collectively represent the next wave of talent and commitment in the Boston economy."  Scordino, who was selected from over 300 nominations based on her professional accomplishments and community involvement, will be honored at a ceremony on October 4, 2012.

At Fish, Scordino focuses her practice on patent infringement litigation and patent counseling in the areas of pharmaceuticals, biotechnologies, and medical devices.  Prior to her law career, she was a research scientist at Purdue Pharma LP and a chemist at Copley Pharmaceuticals.

Scordino received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 2001, where she was senior editor of the Environmental Law Journal.  She received her B.S. in chemistry from Trinity College in 1995.
