FirstEnergy Solutions Names Brian A. Farley Vice President, Sales
AKRON, Ohio, Dec. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- FirstEnergy Solutions has named Brian A. Farley to vice president of Sales. In this position, he is responsible for the strategic planning and day-to-day operations of the sales organization, which includes the Governmental Aggregation, Large Commercial and Industrial, Residential and Municipal sales channels.
Farley began his career with the company in 1989 as an Industrial representative and has held a number of positions related to supply planning. In 2006, he was promoted to director of FERC and RTO Policy where he coordinated the company's participation in RTOs, and developed and advocated for corporate policy as it relates to transmission and wholesale markets. In 2011, Farley was named director of Wholesale and POLR Transactions, responsible for FirstEnergy Solutions' participation in the wholesale electricity markets.

Farley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Cleveland State University and earned an MBA from Baldwin Wallace University.
