First Global Literary Festival Noida 2015 Announced

A literary festival, also known as a book festival or writers' festival, is a regular gathering of writers and readers, typically on an annual basis in a particular city. A literary festival usually features a variety of presentations and readings by authors, as well as other events, delivered over a period of few days, with the primary objectives of promoting the authors' books and fostering a love of literature and writing.

Global Literary Festival Noida is an extension of two very big global festivals, organized in Noida, that is Global Film Festival [17 to 19th Nov] and Global Festival of Journalism [12 to 14 th Feb]. There is no literary festival in Uttar Pradesh of international stature, this will replace and add to all other literary festivals in the state informed, Sandeep Marwah, President of the festival.
During the three-day festival, workshops, master classes, readings, book releases, screenings, launchings, writers meet, publishers meet, book stalls, competitions, entertainment programs, art exhibitions, grand opening and closing award function will take place, added Sushil Bharti Festival Director.
Some of the known writers like R.K.Mishra, Pankaj Singh, Divik Ramesh, Dr. Sham Singh Shashi, Ashok Bajpai, Dr. Namvar Singh, Gopal Das Neeraj, Santosh Anand, DR. Madhikar Gangadhar, Rajjat Arora, Atul Sabarwal are on board.
International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, Ministry of Skill Development, Ministry of Culture And Tourism, State Government of Uttar Pradesh, Noida Authority, Film Federation of India and United Nation Information Centre will support the festival.
Writers like Ajay Nawaria, Dhananjya Singh, Darain Shahidi, Hari Suman Bist, Vishwa Jtoti Ghosh, Raveesh Kumar, Natasha Arora, will be attending the festival. We are expecting participation from other countries of the World also.
The festival will start from 23rd to 25th September 2015 at Marwah Studio at Noida Film City, informed Pankaj K Singh Festival Director-Coordination.
