First Financial Bankshares Officer Luke Longhofer Receives Graduate School of Banking Scholarship
ABILENE, Texas, Aug. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The SW Graduate School of Banking at the Cox School of Business, Southern Methodist University, has awarded Luke Longhofer, Loan Review Officer for First Financial Bankshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: FFIN), the James B. Gardner Commerce Street Capital Scholarship. This scholarship is one of three awarded to participants attaining the highest level of academic achievement during their years at the SW Graduate School of Banking. The grant is given to second-and-third-year students who best represent the educational ideals of merit and leadership. He was also valedictorian of this year's graduating class.

Longhofer manages First Financial's loan review department, preparing written evaluations of complex commercial and consumer loan commitments and evaluating the credit risk within bank loan portfolios. He has been with First Financial Bankshares since 2010. Longhofer holds a bachelor's degree in finance from West Texas A&M University.
