First Federal of Northern Michigan Bancorp, Inc. Announces Increase to Quarterly Cash Dividend
ALPENA, Mich., Jan. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- First Federal of Northern Michigan Bancorp, Inc. (OTCQX: FFNM) today announced that at its January 26, 2016 meeting the Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.04 per common share. The dividend will be paid on or about February 26, 2016, to stockholders of record as of the close of business on February 5, 2016.
"With our recent decisions to delist our common stock from NASDAQ and deregister from the Securities and Exchange Commission, we are pleased to redirect the savings to our shareholders in the form of an increase to our quarterly dividend. This dividend declaration represents our tenth consecutive payment of a cash dividend to our shareholders," said Michael W. Mahler, Chief Executive Officer of the Company. "We believe the increase to the dividend reflects our progress toward our sustained commitment to enhancing value for our shareholders."
