First-ever managed markets Manny Award goes to The Bloc

NEW YORK, April 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Bloc Value Builders' work for Regeneron was awarded the Manny, in the new category of Best Managed Markets Campaign, during the Manny Awards presentation on April 21 in New York City. The Value Builders are a team within The Bloc dedicated to managed markets strategy and communications.

Accepting the award was Executive Vice President and leader of The Bloc Value Builders, Dan Sontupe. "We are excited to accept this milestone award," said Sontupe. "With the changes in healthcare today, we need to drive for better quality and outcomes. The only way to make this happen is to help the manufacturers and 'the payers' work together. This is what the Regeneron campaign was designed to do."

The Bloc Value Builder's campaign supports the managed markets and patient marketing teams at Regeneron as part of their non-branded patient activation program. The program encourages people with diabetes to get a comprehensive dilated eye exam at least once a year. Campaign components include a burden-of-disease presentation for account directors and a toolkit for case managers.

The patient activation campaign extended an award-winning concept created by The Bloc's consumer and professional team, and demonstrates how the Value Builders leverage The Bloc's creative work into fully integrated multichannel materials for all audiences.
