First Choice Emergency Room Opens 50th Facility
Company continues to bring much needed and convenient access to high quality emergency medical care
LEWISVILLE, Texas, Sept. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- First Choice Emergency Room, an Adeptus Health (NYSE:ADPT) company and the leading freestanding emergency room in the United States, opened its 50th facility today. First Choice Emergency Room's growth is addressing an acute need for more convenient access to high quality emergency medical care with facilities located throughout Texas and Colorado.

According to the American College of Emergency Physicians' (ACEP) 2014 National Report Card, the nation received a D- in access to emergency health care; Texas received an F and Colorado received a D+. First Choice Emergency Room provides the same level of care as hospital-based emergency rooms with facilities conveniently located in local communities, and patients seen by a board-certified physician in less than five minutes.

The facilities are staffed exclusively with board-certified physicians and emergency trained registered nurses.
The new facility will be located at 13631 Colorado Blvd. Thornton, Colorado and is open 24-7.
