Firearms Designed For Women to Be Featured at Joint Illinois State Rifle Association/Savage Arms Event

WHEN: Saturday, May 19, 2012, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
WHERE: Illinois State Rifle Association Range, 1589N 7000W Road, Bonfield, IL
WHO: Richard Pearson, Executive Director, Illinois State Rifle Association and representatives of Savage Arms, Inc., will be available to take questions from the media and demonstrate products from the Savage line.
The Illinois State Rifle Association (ISRA) and Savage Arms are pleased to announce that May 19, 2012 is "Savage Day" at the Illinois State Rifle Association Range in Bonfield, IL. The purpose of the event is to introduce the latest hunting and target rifle offerings from Savage Arms and to showcase the facilities available at the ISRA Range. Also partnering in this event is Hornady Manufacturing, which is supplying ammunition for Savage Day.
The highlight of the event will be the introduction of Savage's new line of rifles designed especially for women. The "Lady Hunter" series features a number of special ergonomic adaptations to provide female shooters with greater comfort and accuracy. Chambered for many popular varmint and North American big game cartridges, the Lady Hunters are serious rifles for serious shooters.
The Savage Day event is open to the public. Attendees who hold valid Illinois FOID cards will be able to test fire examples of the Savage rifles on hand at no charge.
