FiREapps to Present at Thunderbird School of Global Management's Webcast on Global Finance
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Executives from FiREapps, the leading provider of foreign currency exposure management software, will be presenting at the Thunderbird School of Global Management's private alumni webcast event on March 21, entitled: "Global Financial Uncertainty and Volatility: The New Normal?" The session will focus on how new developments in international business practices are impacting foreign markets.
This topic was addressed during an alumni webcast with FiREapps in June of 2010, and is now being revisited. "This is a very timely topic, as increases in global capital flows have produced significant financial uncertainty and volatility worldwide and governments are having difficulty managing real side economic performance as a result," says Dr. F. John Mathis, Professor of Global Economics & Finance at the Thunderbird School of Global Management. "Therefore, this is a very good time to re-address this important issue, so we can have a better understanding of where we were, where we are now, and where we may be going."
"As we continue to watch global economic developments, we always focus on connecting them to implications for corporate values," says Wolfgang Koester, CEO of FiREapps. "We truly enjoy working with Thunderbird. It is important to connect with this school's alumni on such an important global issue that impacts them."
The webcast will include Koester, Mathis and Andy Gage, VP of Strategic Development at FiREapps. A recording of this webcast can be found at www.fireapps.com in the near future.
