FiREapps Supports Business Expansion with Addition of East Coast Offices

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., July 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- FiREapps, the leading provider of foreign exchange exposure management software, announced the appointments of Scott Wilson, Eastern Regional Director, and Mario Alagoa, Solutions Consultant. Together, they will be responsible for growing and managing both company's sales and client sales support services in the eastern U.S. region.

Mr. Wilson brings over 25 years of financial markets experience in trading, sales and marketing to his new role as Eastern Regional Director. Prior to joining FiREapps, Mr. Wilson was Managing Director for gfta Analytics. Mr. Wilson has worked in Europe, Asia and North America, and has held senior positions in the Capital Markets divisions of JP Morgan Chase & Co., UBS, Bank of America and Nomura. Mr. Wilson is a graduate of the University of Colorado and is registered with his Series 7, 63 and 42.

Prior to joining FiREapps, Mr. Alagoa worked as a Treasury Manager for Nokia Inc., the multinational telecommunications company where he was instrumental in the development and management of the company's future cash-flows and balance sheet hedging programs. During his 12 years at Nokia Inc., Mr. Alagoa held several positions in the Accounting and Treasury departments in both Europe and in the United States. Mr. Alagoa is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting and Auditing from the Institute of Accounting and Administration, Portugal, a Post-Graduation in Management from the ISCTE-Business School, Portugal and a M.B.A degree in International Business from the University of Connecticut.
