Find It - Fix It Challenge® Showcases Workplace Improvements
Call for Entries in the Ninth Annual Ergonomics Contest
ANN ARBOR, Mich., June 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Humantech, experts in ergonomic workplace improvement, is accepting entries for its annual Find It - Fix It Challenge®. The Find It-Fix It Challenge recognizes and rewards effective workplace solutions that increase productivity, improve worker morale, and reduce workplace injuries and illnesses. The contest is open to all past and current Humantech clients, and runs from June 1, 2015 through September 11, 2015. To view some of our favorite entries from the past eight years, register for a free webinar, "Just Fix It! The Best of the Find It – Fix It Challenge" on Thursday, June 11th at 11 a.m. Eastern.
Beginning this year, the Find It – Fix It Challenge will recognize both simple and complex improvements (those that require more investment in time, resources, and money) with a category for each. Organizations are asked to submit their best workplace improvements, highlighting their creative, sustainable, high-impact ergonomic solutions. All entries will be submitted using The Humantech System®, an online solution for managing ergonomics in production and assembly environments. Information about the submission process can be found on the Find It-Fix It Challenge website.
By late September, fifteen finalists will be selected by a panel of Certified Professional Ergonomists. Of the finalists, two honorable mentions and one first-place winner in each category will be selected. The winner of the complex fix will receive a paid entry to the ErgoCup® competition at the 2016 Applied Ergonomics Conference and two conference registrations. The winner of the simple fix will receive two full conference registrations. Trophies will be awarded to the winners and honorable mentions.
