On July 23, 2014, Qualcomm Incorporated (Qualcomm) reported financial results for Q3 FY 2014 (period ended June 29, 2014). The Company's revenues increased 9% YoY to $6.8 billion. Net income attributable to Qualcomm was $2.2 billion, or $1.31 per diluted share, compared to $1.6 billion, or $0.90 per diluted share, in Q3 FY 2013. Steve Mollenkopf, CEO of Qualcomm, said, "We are pleased to report another record quarter with revenues, earnings per share and chip shipments reaching all-time highs, driven by broad-based demand for our industry-leading 3G/4G chipset solutions. Looking forward, although we have lowered our near-term financial outlook for the licensing business, we are pleased to be raising our fiscal year earnings per share guidance on better than expected performance in our semiconductor business." For full-year FY 2014, the Company expects revenues to be between $26.3 billion to $27.2 billion, and diluted EPS to be in the range of $4.57 to $4.72. Nokia Corporation Research Reports
On July 24, 2014, Nokia Corporation (Nokia) announced the appointment of Ramzi Haidamus as the President of the Company's technologies business as well as a member of the Group Leadership team, effective September 3, 2014. On July 29, 2014, Harris Corporation (Harris) reported Q4 FY 2014 and full-year FY 2014 (period ended June 27, 2014) financial results. In Q4 FY 2014, the Company's revenue totaled $1.3 billion, down 2.2% YoY.
