Financial Leader Robert D. Kelly Joins Board of Solix Algredients

FORT COLLINS, Colo., Oct. 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Solix Algredients, Inc. has appointed Robert D. Kelly to its board of directors.

Mr. Kelly has held a range of senior financial management positions including Chief Financial Officer of SolarCity Corporation; CFO of Calera Corporation; and CFO and Executive Vice President of Calpine Corporation. His financial experience includes various roles with Lloyds Bank PLC and The Bank of Nova Scotia. Mr. Kelly also provided financial advice to retail energy providers and power developers as an independent consultant.

Solix Algredients has repositioned as a B2B supplier of high quality natural ingredients derived from microalgae for the nutrition and personal care markets.  With the Kelly appointment, Solix adds an experienced financial management operator to support its strategic direction.
